Ben's been back for three days now and so far it's been a bust. He's been swamped with work since the moment he walked in the door Tuesday morning. We haven't even had much of a chance to say hello! I even wore my cute dress on Tuesday hoping he'd notice. I was lucky he had a moment to glance my way! Ann noticed my cute dress and knew exactly who it was for. She made fun of me all morning. I was actually glad Ben was in a conference call so he didn't overhear her teasing me.

He has tried a few times to stop by my desk but every time someone pulls him in a different direction. I am so frustrated. This morning Ben came over to say hello but my boss started freaking out because there were no plastic spoons left in the break room and he couldn't stir his coffee. I had to run out and buy a box. Talk about high maintenance! And while I was out he called me three times to pick up other things for him: diet coke, gum, and a lottery ticket. All things essential to a productive day in the office. It's a good thing I like this job.

This past weekend was fun - but too many guys that I have a history with: Jason and Patrick. Patrick was actually cool. He and I have an understanding that we just don't want a long distance relationship. There are no hard feelings. Jason, on the other hand, was kind of driving me crazy. He acted annoyed whenever I would talk to Patrick! What right does he have? I am so over him.

I spent a lot of time hanging out with Amanda and Nic's cousin, Lindsay. We got pedicures and went shopping. No drama but lots of fun. Nic was attached to Josh the whole weekend so I didn't get to spend too much time with her, but we're going to New York on Saturday so we'll have best friend time then.

Well, back to work. The boss is in a mood today and I should probably be ready for anything!
