It turns out that "The Man Who Knew Too Little" was in fact very funny - but I still insist that it's equally funny to "Groundhog Day."
Patrick came over. We ordered Chinese Food, watched the movie and then sat around talking for a long time. I had a really great time, but it was obvious that we were both thinking about his return to Florida. I really like him, but I'm not sure how this could work long distance.
He must have been thinking the same thing because at the end of the evening he gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. It was sweet but I was kind of disappointed. I just wanted one real kiss with him - just to know what it would be like.
I'm so confused. He seemed interested but maybe he's not. Don't you think he would have tried to kiss me if he was interested? Or tried to put the moves on me during the movie?
I asked Nicole what she thought which turned into a fight because I was overly sensitive about the fact that she used to date him. Instead of listening to what she had to say I got all angry and said, "he probably liked you better than he likes me." It just got worse from there. I apologized. I know that she did nothing wrong. She met a guy, dated him, it didn't work out and now I just happen to be interested in him. I just can't help but compare myself to her. Am I as pretty? As fun? As attractive?
Maybe it's better that he's gone. It was probably just a little flirtation. I need to look for something else and move on.

Nat, there is no need to compare yourself to me. You are smart, beautiful, and funny. I actually think you are a better fit for Patrick than I was. Send him an email, see what happens. You never know what could happen in the future.
