Jason came over Thursday night and helped me shovel the snow off the front path. Afterwards I invited him in for hot chocolate and chicken noodle soup. I finally understand why northerners like the snow. There is something soothing about sitting inside with warm soup and hot chocolate while it's snowing outside. We sat there at the kitchen table talking for hours. It was such a nice night.
I wish I could understand why he stays with Kelly. I can see that she's beautiful and she's smart, but she's also kind of a bitch. I look at Jason and all I can think is, he's too good for her. I didn't say any of this aloud, but it was going on in my head throughout the entire conversation.
I'm going to see the two of them tonight at Molly's birthday party. I have to drag myself over to Pennsylvania. I'm not really looking forward to it. I have grown to love Molly but I can't stand her obnoxious brother and I don't really want to hang out with Kelly. The only person I want to hang out with is Nicole and she's going to be late. Plus, I have no idea what to get Molly for her birthday. And I'm broke since my dad cut the purse strings. My mom is working on him for me, but so far he's not giving in. He wants me to take responsibility.
Alright, I've done enough whining. I should probably take my dad's advice to get my act together. Next post will be more positive. I promise.
