Today is a messed up day. It’s been messed up since I left the house this morning. I witnessed a conversation that I did not want to witness. Now I have knowledge that I never wanted to have and I don’t know what to do with it!

I was outside and I saw a friend’s girlfriend (let’s call her “K”) talking to another friend’s boyfriend (we’ll call him “J”). This is how it went.

K: I want you to give me a chance.

J: A chance for what?

K: A chance to make you feel good. (At this point K is hanging on J and its very obvious to me what she means by “make you feel good” – not innocent at all)

J: Well that’s not going to happen.

K: Why not?

J: Because I’m in love with [insert girlfriend’s name] and frankly this conversation is disgusting me.

K: J, how can you deny the tension between us? You know you want to [insert four letter word beginning with F] me.

J: I think you’re already [insert four letter word beginning with F]-ed up enough.

Then J walks away and gets in his car.

So here’s the thing. J did the right thing – thank God! But do I tell J’s girlfriend about it and potentially upset her, even though I really, really think she should know? And what about K’s boyfriend? He should definitely know that his girlfriend is propositioning another guy for sex. But how can I tell him? It’s so messed up and I don’t know what to do.

Then I got to work and it was crazy. Chad was quiet all morning – not like him at all. It was almost eerie. Then one of our co-workers had a seizure. It really freaked me out. I’m not good in emergency situations. I don’t know what to do or how to act. I always feel like I’m going to do the wrong thing.

Stressful day. I need a nap but I have classes all afternoon. I’m afraid I won’t be able to concentrate on the classes because I’m going to be thinking about this morning. Not a good day at all.
