Last night the gang surprised me with a special birthday dinner. Nicole, Molly, Amanda, and Josh set it up with Patrick so that it would be a surprise. They even invited Ann, Mel and Chad from work. I was very surprised. I actually thought everyone had pretty much overlooked my birthday. I'm no longer a teenager.

Sadly, it became obvious to me just how little I mean to Jason. His absence made a statement. At least I know not to waist any more time on him. This is the last time I'll write about Jason.

Today was a long day for me. I was so exhausted from being up late last night. I'm not complaining - I had a really good time, but work was rough. I could barely keep my eyes open, and my classes were even harder. Tonight I'm going to relax. I need some rest. Patrick is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night since our date last night wasn't really a date.
