Ben just asked me if I would have lunch with him today!!! I can't believe it - maybe he's starting to notice I'm alive. We had a good time together at Great Adventure last weekend. It came out that I'm terrified of roller coasters so Ben offered to ride with me to help me get over my fears. I admit that I had a good time, but it had more to do with him than the rides.

Mel was convinced I was making it up because being afraid of roller coasters doesn't really jive with my personality, but I am honestly terrified of them. If I spent the whole day at with ice cream and rides on the merry-go-round I'd be completely satisfied. I don't know why I'm such a baby. Maybe I had some repressed childhood experience on a ride that scarred me for life.

I find out tomorrow if I will be dancing in the pro-am dance competition this summer. I'm not too worried. This competition is Nicole's brainchild so I'm sure she will make sure that I get selected. Then I just have to keep my fingers crossed that they pair me with JD. He's an awesome dancer and the person who convinced me to do this. Keeping my fingers crossed!
